Dog Biscuits

Sam “the flash” is our wonderful dog who is the guest of honor for today’s feast. We are making dog biscuits for the birthday mutt!
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of bacon drippings
- 1 tbs. margarine
- ½ cup of condensed milk
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3 cups whole wheat flour or millet flour
Directions:
- Melt the bacon drippings and margarine in the hot water and then mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl saving the flour for last.
- Have the kids pat and roll out the mixture and using a dog bone cookie cutter, cut out the biscuits. You can use any shape for the cookies! Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 325 degrees for almost an hour (flip them over after 30 minutes.) Let them cool and they should be nice and crispy for your favorite little buddy!
